Skeleton Crew® will be uploading archived video footage of the band to our new YouTube site over the next few weeks. We’re real excited to have an outlet for the many, many hours of band footage that have been collecting dust! Now our old fans and new fans will get a chance to enjoy videos of Skeleton Crew® live on stage and behind the scenes that have previously been unavailable to the public until now. Subscribe to the Skeleton Crew® YouTube Page at: http://www.youtube.com/skeletoncrewmusic. Come back often as we’ll be updating all our sites on a weekly basis. Also a Skeleton Crew® News update: The band recently completed their first pre-production rehearsal for the song “Faith,” which is slated for release on the Christmas in Detroit 3 CD this holiday season. More on that in the near future. The rehearsals went great with another slated for next Thursday. The band will go into Harmony Park Studio in September to record “Faith” with Grammy Award Winning Producer, Mark Pastoria. The band is “stoked!”

Skeleton Crew® Live Gem Theatre | record Release Party

Prior to the band’s national record label debut on Intersound Records in 1996, pre-historic…dig! was released on our producer’s (Gary Spaniola) independent label, Baltic Records. Susan Murphy, who’s company Lip Service Communications handled public relations for the band and coordinated the album cover design, graciously paid for and hosted the record release party at the gloriously restored Gem Theatre in Detroit, Michigan.

Two hundred invited guests, celebrities and media were treated to two hours of an open bar and an extended performance by the band in celebration of their debut recording. A splendid time was had by all and nobody wanted to go home! The band forever extends its gratitude to Susan Murphy and Lip Service Communications for their support and generosity.

We’ve upload a splendid batch of photos from that eventful night on our Facebook Fan Page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Skeleton-CrewR/105081395867?ref=ts

Alt-rockers with an R&B twist; Jiva recently won a slot to play the local stage at Kid Rock’s Comerica Park concert. With Zeppelin-worthy riffs, Motown’s five-year-old foursome Jiva has pile-driven its way to the forefront of the Detroit Rock scene. Think Soundgarden meets Lenny Kravitz and Aerosmith.
Local hard-rock favorites Ballz Deluxe are primordial Detroit rock & roll. Rocking the Midwest in support of their 2008 debut CD, Ballz Deluxe is taking the Motor City by the cojones, one stage at a time!
